This glass has had a miniature repulsor attached to it, similar to those found on drones, anti-grav trolleys, and spaceships. When it is activated it allows you to drink your beverage without holding it by way of levitation.
The miniature repulsor installed on the bottom makes this glass a bit heavier than other cups, so if the time ever comes that you need to knock someone else out with a drinking vessel, you suspect this one will be marginally more effective than anything else you've got.
